Dr. Soumya Ranjan Samal hails from an enduring business family with a knack of business expertise. After graduation from Berhampur University he got into the mainstream of family business in transportation and order supply with different govt. and private sector organisations. His acumen in business got tuned and matured over the time and he embarked upon breaking new grounds by exploring immense possibilities in the field of construction and mining with technical know-how, administrative capabilities, experiments and experiences in business. He set up a separate firm with focus on mining and mining based civil works in 1991.The firm has successfully undertaken and completed various contracts in the infrastructure sector like excavation and raising of minerals, construction of roads, buildings and other civil structure in the mining pockets. The firm is now executing infrastructure development works (civil) contracts in a big way, winning the confidence and complacence of key clients in mining sector. Today under his supervision, KCCL is a premier and eminent mining organisation. The dynamism, dedication, determination and charisma of his business skills has plummeted him and the firm to new heights.

Mr. James Joseph has been associated with Kalinga Commercial Corporation Limited (KCCL) from a very long time when it started its initial expansion towards mining. He holds an exceptional quality of handling the business across various segments with the application of latest technologies and system of mining operations. He holds an experience of more than 35 years in mining, transportation and handling of minerals. His leadership traits have helped in attaining production targets and success in numerous projects.

Behind every successful man, there is a woman. Mrs. Archana Samal, the wife of the Managing Director Dr. Soumya Ranjan Samal, has extended her helping hand to the company with her business skills. As the promoter, strength and director of company. She has become a constant source of inspiration with her creative vision and innovative mindset to lead the company to new horizons. Her 20+ years of experience in supervising the company for computerization helped in achieving greater heights. She has been actively guiding the company in various welfare, social activities.

Mr. Manoj Ranjan Samal has the qualification of M.Com and is involved in the budgeting and finances of the company since its humble beginnings. He has a business experience of 20 years & possesses an excellent quality of handling the business across various segments with innovative way & modern approach.
Mrs. PRIYADARSHINI MOHANTY (DIRECTOR)
Mrs. Priyadarshini Mohanty possesses an rich experience of 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry. She has the qualification of M.Sc. in Biotechnology from VIT university with M.Tech from Amity University. She is a transformative human resource leader with prowess in talent acquisition, employee engagement, benefits management and performance management.
Ms MANASWINI SAMAL (DIRECTOR)
Ms Manaswini Samal has completed her post graduation in International Management from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. She holds 3 years of work experience in the Royal Bank of Scotland. She has been actively involved in executing assigned tasks under the guidance of experienced personnel for acquiring knowledge of standard procedures to deliver the departmental duties. She considers her father Mr. Samal as her role model and possesses an excellent quality of handling the business with application of latest process and technology.
Dr. R.C. MOHANTY (INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR)
Dr. Ramesh Chandra Mohanty, the retired executive director of National Aluminium Company (NALCO), joined Kalinga Commercial Corporation Limited (KCCL) as an independent director in 2015. He holds a working experience of more than 55 years in mines, industries, development of new projects and environmental management. He has done postgraduation in Geology and Ph. D from Moscow State University.
Mr. BIJAY KUMAR OTTA (INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR)
Mr. Bijay Kumar Otta, the retired project manager of Brahmani River Pellets Limited (BRPL), joined Kalinga Commercial Corporation Limited (KCCL) as an independent director in 2016. He holds a working experience of more than 53 years in mines, industries and development of new projects. He possesses an outstanding quality of handling various projects with latest technology. Mr Otta is a mechanical engineer.
Mr.PRADIPTA KUMAR JENA (INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR)
Mr. Pradipta Kumar Jena is the former Regional Director of Reserve Bank of India for the State of Madhya Pradesh. He has more than 35 years of experience in managing banks in various parts of India. His experience in regulating bank and financial sector is helping the Company to achieve its goal and improve its financial control.
Mr. ASHOK KUMAR BAL (ADDITIONAL INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR)
Mr. Ashok Kumar Bal belonged to the 1983 batch of Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and held various leadership positions in Government, Public Sector and Corporates. He combines diverse experience across broad spectrum of activities and sectors. He holds Master’s Degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. He did MBA from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. He also holds a Law degree from University of Mumbai. After taking VRS from IRS, he joined as President, Chairman’s Office, Reliance Industries Ltd., Mumbai and thereafter, as the Chief Executive Officer-India Mining Operations, Essel Mining & Industries Ltd., a flagship company of the US$ 42 billion Aditya Birla Group. He is also on the Board of Mayfair Hotels and Resorts Limited.
